Seven Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash at Eagle Springs Intersection

Eagle Springs, North Carolina — April 18, 2026 — According to the Sandhill Sentinel, several people, including children, were transported to the hospital following a crash.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at the intersection of Bensalem Church Road and Big Oak Church Road, where a collision between two vehicles had occurred. Agencies on site included the Eagle Springs Fire Department, Moore County Sheriff’s Office, Moore County EMS, and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

Officials reported that a Honda Odyssey traveling west on Bensalem Church Road was struck by a Ford Flex heading south on Big Oak Church Road after the Ford driver failed to stop at a posted sign.

A total of seven individuals—three adults and four children—were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the crash. The Honda suffered a heavy front-end impact, while the Ford sustained substantial damage along the passenger side. Authorities also noted that the Ford struck and knocked down a stop sign located across the intersection.

The incident remains under investigation.
