North Carolina,  June 18, 2026. According to the Sandhills Sentinel, emergency crews responded after a four-vehicle collision disrupted traffic at a complex five-way intersection in Pinehurst.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Beulah Hill Road North, McCaskill Road East, and Barrett Road West. Investigators reported that a Hyundai entered the roadway from the Barrett Road West stop sign and pulled into the path of a northbound GMC traveling on Beulah Hill Road North.

Multi-Vehicle Collision Causes

The initial collision set off a chain reaction involving two additional vehicles. The impact caused the GMC to collide with a Ford Mustang that was stopped at the McCaskill Road East intersection. Meanwhile, the Hyundai continued forward and struck a Honda Pilot that was also waiting at the stop sign.

Witnesses told officials that the Pilot was preparing to make a left turn onto Beulah Hill Road North, while the Mustang was waiting to turn right onto the roadway, when the crash occurred.

Despite the extensive damage sustained by all four vehicles, no injuries were reported. Authorities said each vehicle was occupied by a single person, except for the GMC, which carried two adults and a young child. First responders from Moore County EMS, the Pinehurst Fire Department, and the Pinehurst Police Department assisted at the scene. Traffic was managed through the intersection while crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and restore normal traffic flow.

Officials cleared the scene without major delays, and no further information about potential citations or contributing factors was immediately released.
