Huntersville, North Carolina — August 30, 2026 — According to WSOC TV, two people were taken to a hospital following a two-vehicle collision.

The Huntersville Fire Department responded to the crash on Gilead Road near Ranson Road. When emergency crews arrived, they found two vehicles with extensive damage.

MEDIC transported two people from the scene for medical treatment. Authorities said their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The collision also caused substantial traffic disruptions in the surrounding area. Motorists were advised to avoid the affected portion of Gilead Road while emergency personnel responded and the scene was cleared.
